I Caught a Glimpse

Finals week is upon me which means I've been living in the library stacks, reading The Elements of Journalism instead of Vogue, and subsisting on mass quantities of caffeine in the form of coffee, tea, diet Pepsi, and chocolate-covered espresso beans. I reached a new personal low when I resorted to wearing sweats to class today (technically speaking, it was a fleece skirt).

Staying on task is impossible enough as it is, but some of my studying happens to be online... which means two minutes spent studying equals ten minutes spent e-shopping.

Over the past few days, I have found serious refuge Glimpse.com, a cloud nine of clothing. I am too embarrassed to tell you just how much time I've spent clicking through dresses, designers, and discounts... it is so intriguing that I found myself "glimpsing" during Grey's Anatomy. Shopping instead of studying is one thing, but shopping during Grey's? That's addict behavior.

So if you need a study break, get thee to Glimpse.com. And if you want to pass your finals, avoid the tempation until after finals week. Don't say I didn't warn you.

You have to read "The Elements of Journalism" too, huh? Just out of curiosity, what other journalism books do you read for your classes?

Check this out - remember a while back when you posted that dress from Delias, the sailboat one?
http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=424&itemID=47454&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=
Look what I found at gojane.com!
http://www.gojane.com/20241.html
it's practically identical, plus it comes in another colour too, and it's $10 cheaper than the Delias one!!

while I did like glimpse.com, i was very disappointed at the juniors section. i don't shop in the women's sections yet, so naturally, i went to the juniors section, and was surprised that the juniors section was so run-of-the-mill, while the women's section was quite stylish
