Mouse Hunt
The newest version of Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats are just perfection. Not like the last version was far from perfection, but I love that, this time around, the little mouse face is just scribbled on the toe. The consuming fear of losing your mouse's whiskers, eyes, or ears is eliminated (who wants a blind, deaf mouse? even if he is a marc jacobs-endorsed mouse?).
At $250, I am forced to wait until they go on sale. But that's okay, because it will take me that long to decide what color I "need." I already have flats in red, blue, and black. My lifestyle doesn't really promote white shoes; flats really take a beating walking to and from class every day. Plus, my feet seem to unconsciously seek out every puddle on the street. Oh, decisions.

The white is my favorite, but I can see how they would get scuffed and dirty easily, so I would get the black or the red. The blue is cute, but you can't see the mouse face as well!

By the way, the cute studded flats you purchased earlier are on sale for $210 at Barneys (in navy!)...I'm having an internal debate similar to yours...
Too cute. J'adore them. I saw the originals in the Marc by Marc store in LA, but these are even better. I like the blue ones.
I hated the old ones but I really liked the white ones with the ears coming off of them and everything you know the ones that were like two versions ago! These are my second favorite and I really like the red ones they are AWESOME!!
Only Marc Jacobs could come up - and get away - with something so adorably cute and yet so stylish. I like the blue. And the black. Dammit, I like them all!
